Health Literacy (facilitated by PCN regional RNs)

This class is a single session intended for individuals and family members who find navigating health information online and in society difficult.

In the session we review and discuss challenges of finding and understanding real health information to make informed decisions as well as filtering out false news and “click bate”

Topics covered include:

How to search reliable sources, use critical thinking when reviewing information and how to spot misinformation, red flags and possible scams.
