National Aboriginal Peoples’ Day is June 21st. COINS will once again be offering a free community event at Kinnaird Park (2501 14 Ave, Castlegar) from 3pm to 7pm. As in previous years, this free event is open to the public and features cultural offerings, children’s events, Indigenous vendors, and an Indigenous-themed dinner. COINS Elders, staff and other volunteers are very pleased to put on this annual event for community members. Come celebrate the rich diversity of Indigenous culture with us!
