COINS provides culturally safe and competent outreach support by integrating Indigenous ways of knowing and being with Western therapeutic approaches.
The program supports individuals who are unhoused or precariously housed, as well as community agencies seeking to improve culturally respectful services.
Services include cultural connections, Elder support, mental health and substance use counselling, and referrals to community resources.
Through relationship-based and responsive engagement, COINS works to enhance cultural understanding, improve access to services, and support overall community wellness.
