June 21st is Indigenous People’s Day. A day to celebrate the rich diversity of Indigenous culture across Canada. The Circle of Indigenous Nations Society (COINS) will once again be hosting a celebration of Indigenous culture at Pass Creek Park this June from 3pm to 7pm.
As in previous years, this free event is open to the public and features cultural offerings, children’s events, Indigenous vendors, and an Indigenous-themed dinner. COINS Elders, staff and other volunteers are very pleased to put on this annual event for community members. Come celebrate with us! We would like to recognize our sponsors for this year’s event: Columbia Power Corporation and Columbia Basin Trust.
